Grade details
Stainless Steel 316L Coil Tubing is a low carbon austenitic stainless steel alloy coils tubing. Furthermore, these are alloyed with molybdenum and nickel content. These grades of tubing deliver superior resistance to general, crevice as well as pitting corrosion in chlorides conditions. In addition to it offers superior stress rupture, tensile and creep strength at elevated temperatures. The presence of lower carbon enables to immune from grain carbide precipitation.
By the use of standard fusion and good resistance methods the coils possess superior welding properties. On the other hand, it offers superior malleability through deep drawing, bending and stretching. By means of the cold working process, these coils get great hardness. On the other hand post, working annealing is also recommended to remove interior stresses.
Testing details
Several testing and inspections are performed to check the quality of the product. These tests are like pitting resistance test, radiography test, mechanical test, IGC test, flaring test, ultrasonic test, macro/ micro test, and hardness test.
