United Kingdom: Aspen Pumps has acquired Kwix UK Ltd, manufacturer of Kwix pipe straightening machines in Preston.
Introduced in 2012, the patented Kwix hand tool straightens coils and tubes easily and accurately. It is currently distributed by Javac, a subsidiary of Aspen.
This tool will straighten all types of light wall flexible pipes such as copper, aluminium, stainless steel, brass and various other materials such as RF/microwave cables.
Kwix is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Aspen Pumps since it was acquired by private equity partner Inflexion in 2019. These acquisitions include Australian HVACR component manufacturer Sky Refrigeration in 2020 and Malaysian aluminum and metal air conditioning component manufacturer LNE and Italian air conditioning bracket manufacturer 2 Emme Clima Srl last year.
